The Tepper School offers a wide menu of educational offerings at the intersection of business and technology.

Analytics plays a central role in the MBA curriculum, specifically the MBA track in Business Analytics emphasizes the applications of modern data technologies to business. The closely related MBA track on technology leadership and product development also examines many closely related issues relevant to the development, application, and management of cutting-edge technologies.  

Our top-ranked specialized Master's in Business Analytics program provides students with the deep analytical skills, business knowledge and creative problem-solving expertise needed to efficiently and effectively transform data into better decision making and a competitive advantage for their organization. The related specialized Masters's in Product Management is a joint degree between Carnegie Mellon's School of Computer Science and the Tepper School, and equips aspiring product managers with the skills to lead product development that drives growth. Other specialized masters’ programs related to the center include our interdisciplinary, top-ranked Master of Science in Computational Finance program that has prepared students for highly successful careers in quantitative finance for over 25 years, and the Master of Integrated Innovation for Products & Services program that cross-trains students in business, engineering, and design to equips the next generation of innovators, design thinkers, disruptors, and world-changers. 

Our doctoral program shares an impressive legacy of path-breaking research and global recognition that includes multiple Nobel laureates. Ranging over eight disciplinary areas and four jointly offered fields of study, the program is a key building block in the anchoring the activities of the center in enabling research collaborations between faculty and firms, and serving as mentors in experiential learning for masters’ students. 

Within our regular academic programs our faculty offer innovative courses related to the development of AI and analytics in business. Even beyond the regular curriculum, we offer courses to apply new machine learning skills in functional areas such as this summer finance course
