Since 2004, TCinGC has been sending
CMU students beyond Pittsburgh to help
empower communities around the world.
Our program is built on over 20 years of experience preparing students to use their technical skills in a capacity-building consulting model that we have developed: one that that emphasizes collaboration, sustainability, and partnership.

ORGANIZATIONS
TCinGC engineers mutually beneficial partnerships in developing communities worldwide, creating unparalleled opportunities to bridge the digital divide. Our students provide low cost consulting assistance that would otherwise be out of reach for developing community leaders in government ministries, nonprofits, schools, hospitals, NGOs, small businesses, and other organizations that contribute to the social good.

STUDENTS
We send students on 10 week global summer internships, where they gain hands on experience in consulting, onsite problem solving, collaboration, and sustainable development.
We cover the travel cost, and our community partners provide housing and a stipend to cover living expenses. Each summer, from June through August, students can their build their resume, expand their horizons, and have a summer they will never forget!
We accept both undergraduate and graduate students. You are still eligible to apply for the summer after you have graduated from CMU.
