Greek Quad-Housing Services - Carnegie Mellon University

Greek Quad

The Greek Quad offers upper-class living for Carnegie Mellon fraternity and sorority chapters. The 12 houses within the Greek Quad range in size and accommodate between 30 to 36 occupants.

Each facility offers multiple common areas that can be used for a variety of purposes. Chapters commonly use their houses for chapter meals, hosting campus events, brotherhood/sisterhood activities, recruitment activities, meetings, ritual, and many other uses. Additionally, each house is outfitted with a shared bathroom and laundry machines on each floor, storage space, and a kitchen. Depending on the house, the chapter may employ a chef to prepare meals for chapter members. Otherwise, residents would be responsible for preparing their own meals or they always have the option of a meal plan.

Additionally, Quad houses have access to a garage. Typically, this space is used by chapters for storage and work areas for major events and traditions like Booth and Buggy.
