Carnegie Mellon University

Spend your summer with us.

Greek facilities that wish to remain open during the summer period must have a minimum of five residents (who must be members of the Greek organization) occupying the facility at all times. Housing Services will require each organization to submit a roster prior to the start of the summer, and all individuals on that roster must be a student in good standing with the University, which means that recent graduates are not eligible.

All Greek organizations must maintain all standards during the summer period as set forth by the Greek organizations lease and the Greek housing policies. Walkthroughs by University staff are permitted through the public spaces without permission or a designated time.

Access to any facility deemed closed for the summer will not be permitted. Only approved residents (listed on the summer roster submitted to Housing Services) are permitted to occupy houses that are open for the summer. Non-residents will not be given access to the facility.
