Fifth Neville Welcomes Sophomores for Fall 2020

This fall 2020, CMU Housing Services will strengthen its neighborhood concept by adding Fifth Neville Apartments to the mix of Oakland on-campus residences, including Residence on Fifth, Fairfax, Shady Oak, Shirley, Neville, Webster Hall, Clyde House and the Highlands.

Home to hundreds of CMU students over the past many years, Fifth Neville Apartments is now officially part of the CMU residential community and is available to rising sophomores as a housing option during the General Room Selection phase of Room Selection 2020.

Fifth Neville is estimated to welcome approximately 160 sophomores for next school year with brand new programs designated for a diverse, inclusive and encompassing sophomore experience. It offers studio doubles and apartment doubles and singles with plenty of common spaces to encourage a communal residential atmosphere. The living space is newly renovated with mechanical and infrastructure upgrades such as new fire alarm and sprinkler systems, improved electrical system, and newly-installed window air conditioning units in the bedrooms.
