  Dear Friend,

Since Randy Pausch’s now famous “Last Lecture” at Carnegie Mellon University last fall, his uplifting message about achieving one’s childhood dreams has been viewed by millions of people around the world. Because of your past interest in Randy, we wanted to make sure you are aware of his upcoming book The Last Lecture, which was inspired by his lecture, as well as several upcoming news stories that will feature Randy.

The Last Lecture, which Randy co-wrote with Carnegie Mellon alumnus and Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Zaslow, will be released on April 8 and will be available at all major U.S. retailers.

You might also be interested to know that Randy will be featured in a variety of news stories this month, including the April 6 edition of Parade magazine, a “Diane Sawyer Special” (view preview) on April 9, and a “Good Morning America” segment on April 10. Both television programs air on ABC.

Thank you so much for your interest in Randy and Carnegie Mellon. For more information, including how to watch the lecture online for free, how to make a gift to the Randy Pausch Honorary Fund or to find out more about his work at Carnegie Mellon, please visit www.cmu.edu/randyslecture.
