In addition to the dates listed below, you should consult the University Academic Calendar and Graduate Education Events and Opportunities calendar for important dates.

Spring 2019

Immediately

Set your Andrew ID password and Andrew email account.

Tepper MBA Students please consult the Tepper Countdown website for more information about your Tepper email account.

October 29, 2018

Submit health history and immunization forms to Health Services via HealthConnect.

Beginning December 1

Register for University-wide Graduate Student Spring Orientation.

January 2

Enrollment begins for student health, dental, and vision insurance (Student Health Plan) for incoming students. Eligible participants have a specific enrollment period once each academic year (called "open enrollment") for their medical enrollment or waiver decisions.

January 7

Deadline to register for University-wide Graduate Student Orientation.

January 11

International Graduate Student Orientation program will be held from 8:30am-12:30pm.  All F and J students are required to attend. Registration is required.     

Tepper International MBA Students please consult the Tepper Countdown web site for more information about the Tepper Base Camp Program.
January 11
University-wide Graduate Student Orientation for all new graduate students will be held from 12:30 – 5:00pm.
January 14

First day of spring semester classes.

January 15

Deadline for Spring 2019 tuition payment. You can view/pay your bill via the Billing & Payments page at The HUB.

Carnegie Mellon offers payment options that allow students and families to pay amounts due to the university in manageable monthly installments.
January 21

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day University Observance No classes.  Please be sure to check the schedule of events for the Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 31

Deadline for enrollment for student health, dental, and vision insurance (Student Health Plan) for incoming students.

Immediately,
if parking is desired

Submit your application for a campus parking permit. The online open enrollment period is now closed. Anyone who has not applied yet and still wishes to be allocated an individual permit to park on campus during the coming year, including those seeking a disability or universal permit, must come to the Parking & Transportation Office located on the lower level of the Cohon University Center to fill out a paper application.

                              

For Fall 2019

Late July -

Mid August
International Graduate Student Orientation programs begin. There are several sessions available to choose fromAll F and J students are required to attend one session. Registration is required.
August 8 Deadline to register for University-wide Graduate Student Orientation.
August 12-15 University-wide Graduate Student Orientation.
Mid September Deadline to enroll in the Student Health Plan or apply for a waiver.
Mid October Deadline for Fall Mini-2 tuition payment. You can view/pay your bill via the Billing & Payments page at The Hub.
