PhD Student, Engineering and Public Policy
Bio
Anna is a PhD student in the department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. She graduated from Georgia Tech in 2022 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and minor in energy systems. Her undergraduate research at the Ben T. Zinn Combustion Lab focused on data analysis and modeling of gas turbine engines. She has interned at both gas turbine and nuclear companies, and worked as a lead on the Georgia Tech EcoCAR team. These experiences strengthened her interest in clean energy and transportation technology, leading her to question the economic, equity, and technical sides of their adoption.
