Williams awarded the Texas A&M Distinguished Alumnus Award

Engineering and Public Policy Distinguished Service Professor and ETIM Director Dr. Jimmy Williams has been awarded the Texas A&M Distinguished Alumnus Award. The Texas A&M Distinguished Alumnus Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a former student of Texas A&M University and recognizes Aggies who have achieved excellence in their chosen professions and made meaningful contributions to Texas A&M University and their local communities.

Williams is being honored for his notable engineering career and his work co-chairing Texas A&M’s task force on diversity, equity and inclusion, which produced findings that directly impacted the university’s current initiatives.
