Giving CMU Day

It’s Giving CMU Day — one day that makes an infinite impact at Carnegie Mellon!

For the next 24 hours, join this special CMU community in making a difference that is turbo-charged. For today only, your support can be doubled (and even tripled!). When you give to the programs and projects that send you to cloud nine, you’ll launch them into the stratosphere.

Join the mission to help Tartans soar!

Here are a few ways you can make an immediate difference today:

Your gift will go where it is needed most, to the most urgent priorities of the department. Your generosity will have a direct impact on the success of the Department of Engineering and Public Policy by supporting projects such as student programming, research activities and state-of-the-art facilities.
The Tartan Scholars Fund’s mission is to provide support for high-achieving students who come from low-income backgrounds. Your gift to the Tartan Scholars Fund not only provides financial support to these highly motivated students, but opens the doors to a first-rate education and provides social support to lay the groundwork for these students to become leaders in the future.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CaPS) provides a safe, confidential environment for students to talk about personal and academic concerns. All students currently enrolled at the Pittsburgh campus are eligible for services provided through CaPS at no additional cost. On average, 35% of students use CaPS during their time at CMU.

Giving CMU Day contributions will help us continue to provide students with consultations, individual therapy, group therapy and psychiatric care, as well as prevention and education services.
The Student Food Insecurity Fund supports the CMU Pantry which is an on- campus facility committed to reducing hunger among students by providing nutritious food and other necessities at no cost. Your gift to the Student Food Insecurity Fund provides CMU students with access to nutritious food and other resources and promotes a healthier, balanced university experience.
