TBD

Attire for the IRLE seminar is casual. Aspen is located in the Rockies at 7,800 feet of elevation, so the weather in May ranges from temperatures in the mid-30s overnight to the mid-60s during the day. Rain and snow are possible. When packing be sure to bring layers to adjust to temperature changes.

Lodging

Upon acceptance to the workshop, we will reserve a room for you at the Aspen Meadows Resort, under the IRLE group booking. If your travel plans require different start and/or end dates, please let us know immediately. Your registration will cover four nights of lodging, and an additional night before and after the workshop will be available to you to reserve at the workshop group rate. A confirmation will be sent to you prior to your arrival.

Flight

The closest airport to Aspen Meadows Resort is Aspen (ASE). You be responsible for booking your flight to the workshop. Once at the workshop, reimbursement forms will be available. We welcome family members who may be joining you, but will be able to reimburse only your flight expense from your point of origin to Aspen, Colorado and the same return. Additional travel will not be reimbursed. Once you have booked your flight please send a copy of your travel itinerary to Kim Martin, kamartin@andrew.cmu.edu

Ground Transportation

Based on your scheduled itinerary we will arrange for the Aspen Meadows Resort shuttle to transport you to and from the Aspen airport. The shuttle will also be available for transport around town while in Aspen. You will be responsible for your own ground transportation to and from your local airport.

Workshop participation space is limited. If you cancel your participation in the workshop, flight expenses will not be reimbursed and Aspen Meadows may charge a cancellation fee for lodging expenses.

Please inform us immediately of changes in your attendance. Contact Lynne Kiesling at lynnekiesling@cmu.edu with any changes or assistance you may need with your registration.

Group breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners will be provided for you while in Aspen starting with dinner on Friday night and ending with lunch on Tuesday.  Each meal will have a variety of food options available to fit most dietary needs.

(Any meals outside of the seminar agenda will be your responsibility.)
