Laughlin retiring as Principal Editor of Met Trans
After more than 30 years, Materials Science & Engineering ALCOA Professor David E. Laughlin will step down as the principal editor of the journal Metallurgical and Materials Transactions (Met Trans) at the end of 2016. Laughlin has been an editor for the journal since 1982, and his editorial legacy with Met Trans was featured in a recent article in JOM. He will be succeeded by Tresa M.
