Fruehan Receives 2010 AIST of AIME Hunt-Kelly Outstanding Paper Award

Professor Richard J. Fruehan has received the 2010 AIST of AIME Hunt-Kelly Outstanding Paper Award for his paper: "Decarburization and Slag Formation Model for Electric Arc Furnace", by Raimundo A.F.O. Fortes, Hiroyuki Matsuura, Richard J. Fruehan.

The paper was selected for excellence, originality, relevance to the technology (applied or fundamental) of the iron and steel industry, and for the advancement of engineering and operating practice in the steel industry.
