Over the course of his career, Ghose has been researching several approaches to reduce the energy consumed by emerging computer applications (e.g., databases for large-scale data sets, cryptocurrency, graph workloads, mobile device workloads) in their memory and storage systems. His relevant areas of expertise include energy-aware memory design, processing-in-memory and data-centric computer hardware.
