Marija D. Ilić

Professor Emeritus, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering and Public Policy

5000 Forbes Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Ilić's research and education focus on the modeling and control of large complex nonlinear systems with application to electric power systems. While her research is motivated by the practical needs of the electric power industry, it is useful to other industries that operate large complex systems whose organization is hierarchical. Most generally, she seeks to improve the technical and economic performance of electric power systems by means of control and communication.

  • M.Sc. and D.Sc. in Systems Science and Mathematics, Washington University in St. Louis
  • MEE and Dip. Ing., University of Belgrade.

Ilić specializes in modeling and control of electric power systems; and improving the technical and economic performance of electric power systems.
