Alexandre is an Assistant Professor of Operations Research and Public Policy at the Heinz College. He holds a minority appointment in Operations Research at the Tepper School of Business, and a courtesy appointment in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Jacquillat's research aims to promote more efficient, more reliable and more sustainable transportation systems. Specific areas of interest include air traffic management (airport operations, airline scheduling, air traffic flow management) and ride-sharing systems (ride-sharing demand, optimization of car-sharing offerings and operations, implications for public policy and mobility). Areas of expertise include stochastic models, optimization methods and economic analyses.
