Closed-toed Shoes in the Lab

When it's nearly summer time and time for sandal wearing, it is important to remind everyone in your lab area that closed-toed shoes, meaning shoes where the entire foot is covered, must be worn when in the laboratory.  If you wear sandals outside the lab, you should always keep a pair of appropriate shoes at your desk, so that you can change into them when you do your lab work.

EH&S is always on the lookout for this problem, as are many of the laboratory researchers.
