Remote Access Clusters

Remote access compute clusters are located in the ITS Cyert Hall machine room. They can be accessed  either directly through ssh, sftp, or, indirectly, via a service such as condor. Condor is described in greater detail elsewhere in this guide.

• Data transfer node

  • General purpose connection server – not for computationally intensive work

  • fileexchange.cit.cmu.edu (see information page)

• ECE COMMUNITY – PRIVATE

  • All faculty and graduate students receive access to these machines. Visit the resource description page for more information.
