March is National Nutrition Month® (NNM)! Join us all month long as we celebrate our #NNM theme, "Eat More Plants." We will be cooking in color and serving up delicious ideas to help you enjoy foods that support health and the environment.

#NNM Eat More Plants Dinner and Demo

It’s National Nutrition Month® and we’re kicking off the month with a bang! Join us in Schatz Dining Room for a plant-forward meal and watch Chef George’s cooking demo, as he shares tips and tricks to eat more plants - whether you are vegetarian, vegan or flexitarian, or simply want to try something new!

Are you looking for simple strategies to enjoy foods that promote health and support the environment? Join Chartwells Registered Dietitian, Marla Breitbarth, and Sustainability Coordinator, Tyler Iddon for a National Nutrition Month® Lunch and Learn to explore the concept of plant-forward eating – a style of cooking and eating that emphasizes and celebrates plant foods – that can fit into any eating pattern. Chartwells Senior Executive Chef George will share and demonstrate his tips for incorporating more plants into a favorite dish without compromising taste, texture, and visual appeal. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation for The CMU Pantry and help us combat food insecurity on campus!
