Welcome to Dining Services at Carnegie Mellon University!
Graduate students are an important part of the Carnegie Mellon community and Dining Services wants to make every effort to serve your unique dining needs when you are on campus. We have over 30 dining concepts located throughout campus - in academic buildings, Hunt Library, and the Jared L. Cohon University Center. These locations offer flexible hours so that no matter your work or study schedule, there will be a dining location open to serve you.
Additionally, dining options and cuisines are as diverse as the students we serve. Ethnic options abound – Indian, Pan-Asian, Mexican, and Mediterranean are just a sampling of the global cuisines we are proud to offer. Health nuts have options at every location on campus, including fresh vegetables, lean proteins, and seasonal fruits, as well as eateries dedicated to vegan and vegetarian meals, smoothies, and build-your-own salads. For those late night work or study sessions when only a pizza or wings will do, we have those indulgent options, too.
Our dining plans are designed so that you can choose when, where, and what you want to eat in a way that best fits your schedule and dining needs. Your dining plan and DineXtra dollars, our declining balance program, are encoded on your Carnegie Mellon ID card, so you have easy access to your account wherever you go. Graduate students can choose from our traditional and community plans (which include blocks/meals and a declining balance program) as well as DineXtra dollars.
Dining on campus is a great option for graduate students who are looking for convenience, flexibility, and value!
