I am a doctoral student in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Technological Change (SETChange).
I did my undergrad in Electrical Engineering and have a MBA from Sharif University of Technology, Iran. Before starting my program at CMU, I had spent about two years as a doctoral student in business in Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at University of Missouri.
My research interest bridges SETChange and behavioral decision making. I am currently working with George Loewenstein on how social connections and expectation of feedback on outcome may affect entrepreneurs’ decision to exploit opportunities. In another study, I am working with David Hounshell on applying evolutionary epistemology to craft R&D strategy.
