Danelle Belau has called the Pittsburgh area home for nearly 14 years. Originally from Nebraska, she earned a BS in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska. She has taught K-2 multi-age, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Head Start. She also spent a year substitute teaching in the Pittsburgh area, teaching everything K-6.

Danelle and her husband, Dave, have two children. Reagan is a freshman in high school and involved in athletics. Corbin is a 7th grader and involved in instrumental music. Danelle is an avid reader, reading 80-100 books a year. She and her family enjoy hiking, biking, and taking care of their 3 dogs.
