Bio

I joined the SLA PhD program at CMU in Fall 2019. Prior to coming to CMU, I spent six amazing years teaching Chinese at Princeton University. While teaching is my passion, I also conduct research that can better guide classroom teaching. I apply conversation analysis (CA) to study classroom interaction patterns that facilitate the learning of Mandarin Chinese.
