Alexis Teagarden Receives Honorable Mention for University Graduate Student Teaching Award

Alexis Teagarden has received an honorable mention for the 2012 University Graduate Student Teaching Award. This award is given annually to recognize a graduate student who has demonstrated exemplary teaching. Winners are nominated by faculty members and students.

In addition to her role in the classroom, Alexis also works as Assistant Director in the English Department's First-Year Writing Program and as a Graduate Student Assembly (GSA) representative. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Rhetoric.
