Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon University’s Literary and Cultural Studies doctoral program, I worked as a research coordinator and editor for a health policy research group and data center in Minnesota. My research in literary and cultural studies focuses on patient experiences; embodiment; and health care narratives, styles, and disparities in Afro-Caribbean and African novels.
