Bio

Originally from Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Mary received her B.A. in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked for the HWS Office of Communications as a student writer, contributing articles about student life and alumni profiles to the Colleges' website. She also became the Senior Editor for the HWS Chapter of Her Campus and interned in the marketing department of St. Martin's Press and Minotaur Books, imprints of Macmillan Publishers. Her love of writing and interest in marketing and communications led her to CMU's Professional Writing program. After graduating, Mary is plans to pursue a career in the publishing industry.
