Bio

Chris is transitioning from the professional world having spent the past two years grant writing and managing institutional giving efforts for the American Civil War Museum in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated with a BA in International Affairs from James Madison University in 2015 and then spent a year teaching English in China. He’s excited about the wealth of opportunities that the MAPW program will afford him in applying his writing and communication skills after graduating. Chris was born and raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.
