Bio

My area of study centers Rhetoric of Science and Discourse Analysis, specifically discourse in the medical field. At CMU I wrote about how physicians communicated in online spaces, and disambiguating metaphors about the female body. I am interested in how language directly affects the patient experience and more importantly, how we can use rhetorical strategies to improve those relationships.
