Originally from Erie, PA, Adam graduated with a BS in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006. From there, Adam worked for nine years at Pitt supporting various departments in the Health Sciences before transitioning to Carnegie Mellon to launch the Corporate Relations programs at the Dietrich College of Humanities and Sciences and the Mellon College of Science, transitioning to full-time support of the Dietrich College in 2018.

Adam is co-founder and Vice-Chairperson of the Board for Side Project, Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote social justice and social change by incubating and developing grassroots projects. Adam also serves as Past-President of NACRO, a leading professional development group for Academic Corporate Relations Officers.
