Student Health & Wellness

Your health and safety remain our priority as we plan for the upcoming semesters.

We have watched the numbers of coronavirus cases increase in U.S. and global communities, and this sobering trend has informed our approach to on-campus policies. Our protocols for return to campus are driven by science and research-based evidence, recognizing our knowledge of the virus continues to evolve.

The university implemented a required 14-day modified quarantine period that every student coming from outside Southwestern Pennsylvania (SWPA) had to complete prior to joining in-person coursework or engaging in other on-campus experiences.

In order to help protect the safety and well-being of the members of the CMU community, we are adhering to strict protocols for travelers to and from campus. This includes students' personal travel. READ MORE ON THE TRAVEL PROTOCOL

Similar to travel protocols, we are adhering to strict protocols for visitors to campus. For the purpose of this protocol, visitors include anyone who is not a CMU employee, student or contractor. READ MORE ON VISITOR PROTOCOL
