VMware
Carnegie Mellon University provides two ways to access VMware Software:
-
VMware Academic Software Licensing Program - provides free downloads for students, faculty, and staff who are taking classes. Due to vendor restrictions, staff not taking classes are not eligible to use VMware Academic Software and may use Enterprise Licensing instead.
-
VMware Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) - provides discounted software for university administrative, infrastructure, and staff use.
