DETAILS
We encountered an issue with the Directory Service that caused intermittent problems with services that are dependent on the Directory. These services include but are not limited to Email, VPN and Unified Communications phones.

The issue has been resolved and all systems should be functional by 11:30 am.  If you encounter on-going issues, please report them to the Computing Services Help Center.
