Workday Attachment Issue - Resolved
UPDATE: The Workday attachment issue has been resolved.
Workday users are currently reporting a known issue uploading attachments with the Add Job business process. This issue occurs when a Department Initiator initiates an Add Job transaction on an employee whose primary position is not in the supervisory organization where the department initiator role is assigned. The impact on student hires is significant.
The current work around is to complete the Add Job form and select Save for Later. The attachment section will display when the Department Initiator reopens the Add Job form. Department Initiators will then be able to add the attachment.
The CMU Works Service Center is also able to upload documentation to a worker’s record on behalf of the department.
