PCCS Annual Conference 2014

The Pittsburgh-Cleveland Catalysis Society (PCCS) Annual Conference was held on June 2, 2014 in Doherty Hall at Carnegie Mellon University and sponsored by Micromeritics and the North American Catalysis Society (NACS). The meeting had the largest turnout in several years with over 60 people in attendance from 6 different Universities.  Invited speakers for the conference were Paul Barger from UOP LLC, John Keith and Yanni Mpourmpakis from University of Pittsburgh, and Chunshan Song from Penn State University. Students also presented their work in presentations and a poster session in the afternoon. Natalie Austin from University of Pittsburgh won the award for best poster and Gamze Gumuslu from CMU and Ian McCrum from Penn State University won awards for the best talks.
