Lee Awarded Miller Presidential Fellowship

PhD candidate Daryn Lee has recently been awarded a Ruth Furman Miller and David H. Miller Presidential Fellowship in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from the College of Engineering and the University.

Lee graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Civil Engineering. Currently she is working with professor Costa Samaras where she is focused on leveraging real-time vehicle data to improve analysis of accessibility and reliability of public transportation systems.

I'm very thankful to be a recipient of a Ruth Furman Miller and David H. Miller Presidential Fellowship," says Lee. "This support allows me to continue working on the problems I find most interesting and important.

This award was made possible through a generous gift in 2016 from the estate of Ruth Furman Miller.
