Katti received her undergraduate degrees in Systems Engineering and Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. She is working with Professors Sean Qian, Costa Samaras, and Scott Matthews looking at integrating autonomous vehicles into daily life from a traffic systems perspective and how to use autonomous vehicles to control a mixed traffic flow.
“I am incredibly thankful to have received the Miller Presidential Fellowship," says Katti. "It is an honor to be on a path towards receiving a PhD in Civil Engineering from CMU alone; this fellowship only elevates that honor further.”
This award was made possible through a generous gift in 2016 from the estate of Ruth Furman Miller.
