Lederman Named 2013 CMU T-SET UTC Student of the Year
PhD student George Lederman has received the 2013 CMU T-SET UTC Student of the Year Award in recognition of his accomplishments, scholarship and contributions to transportation technologies. T-SET is a University Transportation Center that focuses on technologies that will make transportation safer and more efficient and is comprised by well-established transportation experts from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pennsylvania (Penn). George was recognized for his research on the indirect health monitoring of bridges. He was recognized at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) meeting in January. He is advised by Professors Jacobo Bielak, Hae Young Noh, and Jim Garrett.
