Christopher Ejiofor Wins ASCE Student Leadership Award

Christopher Ejiofor Wins ASCE Student Leadership Award
CEE senior Chris Ejiofor (BS ’14) has recently been selected to receive the 2014 ASCE Student Leadership award. Chris has served as a leader within the CMU chapter and and helped to contribute to its growth. He also co-organzied the 2014 Ohio Valley Student Conference where 15 area universities competed in a number of events centered on civil engineering. Chris also works with freshman to determine what area of engineering best suits their interests.

Chris credits the Pittsburgh ASCE chapter in helping him accomplish his goals. The section has remained dedicated to students and their development. “I am blessed to receive this award,” says Chris. “It is truly an honor to be recognized for what I’ve done, but this award is really for all the people around me who helped me to achieve my goal, from students to CEE staff and faculty. This community has been tremendously supportive of my work through ASCE and I am forever grateful.”

Chris will receive his award at the CEE diploma ceremony in May.
