Corinne Clinch Awarded CMWA Scholarship

Corinne Clinch Awarded CMWA Scholarship
CEE/BME senior Corinne Clinch (BS ’14) will receive the Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association (CMWA) Scholarship in honor Mary Suresh and her dedication to the Health Care Industry and includes a $1,000 award. The celebration of this honor with the CMWA will occur at a reception on April 29th in the Posner Center.

This award is in honor of the 50th anniversary of this scholarship and of CMU’s first lady, Mary Suresh. This special honor was awarded to an undergraduate woman planning a career in the health professions.

The CMWA Scholarships began in 1964 to honor outstanding women at Carnegie Mellon. The tradition continues today with scholarship awards given to several senior women each year. Each year the Scholarship Chair works with the deans and department heads to nominate outstanding senior undergraduate women. The awards are presented by CMWA Honorary President Mary Suresh in the spring at the end of the academic year.

Congratulations Corinne for your outstanding achievement!
