Dzombak to Testify at Congressional Hearing
CEE Professor David Dzombak will be one of four expert witnesses testifying at a U.S. Congressional subcommittee hearing on Wednesday, July 24.  The hearing, co-hosted by the Subcommittee on Environment and the Subcommittee on Energy, is titled Lessons Learned: EPA’s Investigations of Hydraulic Fracturing.

Dzombak, who will become the Department Head of Civil and Environmental Engineering on August 1, is the chair of the Hydraulic Fracturing Research Advisory Panel for the EPA Science Advisory Board. An internationally recognized expert in environmental engineering, Dzombak has served on EPA Science Advisory Board since 2002.

The hearing, including Dzombak’s testimony, will be streamed live at 10 a.m.
