CEE Undergraduate students competed for the second consecutive year in the ASCE Ohio Valley Student Conference which was held at the University of Pittsburgh. The team was one of four groups to pass all load tests. Of the 11 competing universities, the CMU team placed fourth in stiffness and fourth in efficiency.

In addition to the Steel Bridge event, the students also competed in the Technical Writing, Balsa Wood Bridge and Concrete Horseshow competitions.
