2012 Fellowships Awarded

Several CEE doctoral students have recently been awarded fellowhips, awarded through the College of Engineering (CIT), in recognition for their accomplismnents at the university. 

Three students were awarded the John and Claire Bertucci Fellowship: Engin Anil, advised by Burcu Akinci and Jim Garrett; Linchen Han, advised by Kelvin Gregory; and Hariprasad Parthasarathy, advised by Dave Dzombak and Thanasis Karamalidis. 

John Stegemeier, advised by Greg Lowry, has received a Bushnell Fellowship.

John and Claire Bertucci endowed the Bertucci Fellowship in Engineering. The fellowship may be awarded to highly accomplished graduate students in all departments who are pursuing doctoral degrees "and who have passed their PhD qualifying exams and have been admitted to PhD candidacy."  

Neil and Jo Bushnell endowed the Neil and Jo Bushnell Fellowship in Engineering.  The fellowship may be awarded to highly accomplished graduate students in all departments, but gives preference to PhD students working in nanotechnology or electronic materials.  

Congratulations Engin, Linchen, Hariprasad and John on receiving these prestigious and competitive fellowships!
