Prospective Students

Prospective PhD Students

We are always looking for students interested in pursuing doctoral (PhD) study at Carnegie Mellon with interests similar to our ongoing CERCA research. Students with such interests are encouraged to apply directly to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering or the Department of Engineering and Public Policy.

Opportunities are also available for a joint degree across both departments. In your application you should specifically note your interest in working with CERCA or CERCA affiliated faculty. Competitive applicants are eligible for funded research assistantships.

Prospective Masters Students

Students interested in a Masters degree with a concentration in Climate Change Adaptation for Infrastructure should apply to Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Funding is available for competitive applicants.
