UI/UX Virtual Career Fair

Platform: Handshake Virtual Career Fair Platform

The UI/UX Design Virtual Career Fair is primarily for undergraduate and graduate students studying Human-Computer Interaction and Design and are seeking roles in UI/UX. Employers interested in recruiting for these students are encouraged to join. The majority of students in attendance will be searching for full-time roles.

We will use the Handshake Virtual Career Fair Platform for the event. 

Registration is NOW OPEN in Handshake! Online registrations will be taken until the date listed below.  Once online registration has closed, please email Janet Vojtash at vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu and registrations will be taken if room is available.

Virtual Platform & What is Included:
The CMU CPDC is excited to partner with Handshake to run career fairs in a virtual format. 

Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. At our virtual event, you’ll be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including:

  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • Group meetings with up to fifty students
  • 1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
  • By sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time

Note: During registration, you’ll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students later this summer. Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
Wednesday, March 16th at 12 p.m. ET

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to Janet Vojtash at vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu on or before March 24, 2022, for a full refund. Cancellation requests after April 20 for event registration fees will not be refunded. All unpaid registration fees are due upon cancellation.

No-Show Policy: Career Fair "no-shows" are responsible for their entire registration fee and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event. To avoid being considered a no-show, please email vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu and cancel no later than March 24, 2022. All unpaid registration fees are due immediately.
