On behalf of Carnegie Mellon’s Career & Professional Development Center and Athletic Department, save the date for a virtual networking reception with CMU’s Varsity Student-Athletes. This unique event allows you the chance to meet with over 400 talented varsity athletes who are exploring their career opportunities and have expressed interest in your organization. Carnegie Mellon University supports the goal of intercollegiate athletics by providing an educational and athletic environment which fosters teamwork, collaboration, discipline, respect, personal responsibility, and sportsmanship.  

Tartan Student-Athletes possess a highly sought-after skill set, which many employers find imperative in the work place, and therefore realize the benefit of recruiting student-athletes. Join us from the comfort of your home or office for a cost-free recruiting opportunity with great conversation!

Registration will open in Handshake on Monday, May 10th . Registration is on a first come first serve basis and will close once capacity is reached.

Registration Fee:
There is no fee to attend this event

Registration Deadline:
Thursday, September 21st at midnight

Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
Monday, September 13th at 12 p.m. ET

Registration Includes:

  • Group meetings with up to fifty students
  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • Up to as many as 100 individual reps can create a schedule
  • 1:1 student meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
CMU is excited to partner with Handshake to run our career fair in a virtual format. Upon registration, we'll review the details you submitted for approval. As it gets closer to the virtual event, we'll follow up with details about how to engage with students in this virtual environment.

Note: During registration, you'll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair. Up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair.
