HCII Connect is an informal recruitment event for industry professionals to meet with Graduate and Undergraduate Human Computer Interaction Institute students regarding full-time positions and internships. HCII graduates work in areas such as user experience and research, interaction design, data analytics, learning sciences, product management and technical roles across the globe. Light refreshments will be served.

As part of HCII Connect, Confluence, and Interchange, you may elect to host a table at the Creative Arts Career Fair (CAOC) to promote your company and meet our students. You may also choose to conduct formal interviews on February 19. Interview registration is combined with the CAOC Career Fair registration. For more information including a schedule of events and online student portfolio gallery, visit the website listed above. There is a fee to reserve interview space.

This event is a networking event. Company displays, banners, signs, logo table cloths and swag is not permitted.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations must be emailed to Katelyn Livingston at kliving@andrew.cmu.edu on or before February 3, 2021 for a full refund. Cancellation requests after February 3 will not be refunded.

No-Show Policy

If you register but do not attend the event, you are not entitled to transfers or refunds at any time. No-shows forfeit their entire registration fee, and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event.

If you wish to interview students you meet at HCII Connect, interview space is available February 19. Please indicate this within your HCII registration in Handshake.
