Energy Career Fair

This event is in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University’s Energy Week, the Energy Science Technology & Policy Program, and the University of Pittsburgh.

The career fair is tailored to employers in the energy sector who are interested in recruiting students for internships or full-time opportunities. Students from all majors are able to attend, but one thing is certain, they are all passionate about working within the energy sector.

Energy Career Fair:  Goes Green            
The CPDC is dedicated to the University-wide initiative.  As part of this effort, we ask that all employers limit giveaways to those items that are practical and usable. These might include: candy, chapsticks, hand sanitizer, notebooks, pens, USB sticks. Please join us in taking steps towards a more sustainable future for us all! 

Company Displays/Banners
Company display/banner dimensions for the career fair cannot exceed 8’ high x 3’ wide.  Contact Janet Vojtash if your display/banner exceeds these requirements.  Although not guaranteed, every effort will be made for those employers who have displays/banners that go beyond the stated dimensions

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation/Refund requests MUST be emailed to vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu on or before March 9, 2020 for a full refund.  Cancellations made after March 9 MUST BE PAID IN FULL UPON CANCELLATION.  No-shows will be obligated to pay their event registration in full.

No-show Policy
Career Fair "no-shows" are not entitled to transfers or refunds at any time. No-shows forfeit their entire registration fee and materials, and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event. To avoid being considered a no-show, please email vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu and cancel no later than March 9, 2020. All unpaid registration fees are due immediately.

Shipping Materials for Energy Fair
Display space is limited as this event consists of high top tables rather than booths.  If you wish to ship displays/banners prior to the event please make sure the packages are clearly labeled with your company name and "Energy Career Fair" and arrive no later than March 20.

Shipping Back To Your Company
It is your responsibility to see that display materials are returned to your company. Please bring pre-printed FedEx or UPS labels with you for each package to be shipped back. We do have FedEx and UPS representatives on hand immediately after the event.

If you do not use FedEx or UPS, please arrange a pick-up by your carrier between 5:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event at the Cohon University Center 2nd Floor, Rangos Ballroom.
