Visit Us In Atlanta This September 20 at Rwanda Day

Carnegie Mellon University will be attending this years Rwanda Day in Atlanta, Georgia on the 20th of September. This is a great opportunity for diaspora members and international Rwandan students to engage with the exciting work that CMU in Rwanda is a part of.

Information on Rwanda Day

The sixth edition of Rwanda Day will bring together thousands of Rwandans living abroad as well as friends of Rwanda to Atlanta, Georgia. The event will be a celebration of 20 years of liberation (Kwibohora) and the progress Rwanda has made, as well as a chance to discuss solutions to our challenges as we continue to build a dignified nation. President Kagame will deliver the keynote address followed by an interactive session with audience members.   

This year, Rwanda Day will feature panel discussions on youth employment and opportunities as well as discussions on Economic Self Reliance and Global Dignity. The event will also include a job fair.   

Information for Potential Students

Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top engineering universities in the world, is now offering its MS in Information Technology degree and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering degree in Kigali, Rwanda.  We are currently accepting applications from qualified students for August 2015 admission. If you have any documents such as your transcripts or CV, please bring them with you to the session.
