About Turn Tartan Experience

The Turn Tartan Experience is designed to immerse you in all things Carnegie Mellon. You'll have the opportunity to hear from faculty, talk to current students, and ask any questions you may have about the life of a Tartan. Review session offerings and register below!

Schedule and Important Information

Please join us on Sunday, November 5 for Turn Tartan Experience to get to know our campus, learn about academic and artistic opportunities, meet faculty and hear from current students about their Carnegie Mellon experience. Please see detailed schedules below for sessions and classes offered as part of the experience.

*While Turn Tartan Experience does not have an overnight component, students will be able to sit in on specific classes and take advantage of departmental office hours on Monday, November 6. Students and families are required to find their own overnight accommodations.

Sessions and Offerings

You'll pick and choose which sessions to attend. After you register, you can add or remove programs to create your personal Turn Tartan Experience schedule using the link in your confirmation email. Available sessions include:

Information Session & Campus Tour

We encourage you to invite your parents or guardians to join you for an in-depth review of Programs, Admission and Financial Aid at our specialized Information Session.

Immediately following the Information Session; visitors will be offered the opportunity to attend an in-person Campus Tour with one of our Tartan Ambassadors who will share their perspective while showing you classrooms, laboratories, traditions and unique architecture around campus.
