A long-standing tradition that's provided college admission advice to students in the Pittsburgh region for more than 25 years

College Success 101 (CS 101) is an annual college access event, typically held in May, that seeks to engage with students from Pittsburgh-area high schools and community-based organizations. It provides students the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the admission and financial aid process and forge connections between students and institutions within our region.

Check back in the spring for dates and more details.

While Carnegie Mellon hosts this event, representatives from The Pittsburgh Promise and admission representatives from a variety of Pittsburgh-area colleges and universities take part, including:

  • California University of Pennsylvania
  • Carlow University
  • Chatham University
  • Clarion University
  • Community College of Allegheny County
  • Duquesne University
  • Edinboro University
  • Penn State University
  • Point Park University
  • Robert Morris University
  • Saint Vincent College
  • Slippery Rock University
  • University of Pittsburgh

What if I can't attend?

Don't worry — you can still connect about admission, financial aid and anything else you have questions about!

Request more information and continue the conversation with an admission counselor from any of the participating schools.
